EVERYONE HAS THAT ONE MOMENT DURING CHILDHOOD THAT YOU JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FORGET. Mine was when I was 13 or 14 (they all blur together) and I had to get up in front of my entire class and do a dance of some sort - I must have been taking a drama class or maybe a dance class? Can't remember. BUT REGARDLESS - I had to get up and do something which was apparently no good. My entire class shouted "YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG" over and over and when I tried to get off the stage my teacher yelled at me for not completing this obviously REMARKABLE dance routine. So I had to finish while the entire class screamed and laughed at my dance (mind you, I'm a pretty amazing dancer now if I do say so).
So the other day (while wearing this outfit) when a young boy shouted "SHE'S WEARING THOSE WRONG!" it brought back some pretty traumatic moments in my life. But being ten years older and much more secure about my dance skills I was able to brush it off. Plus I didn't want to look like the psycho Canadian woman crying at the 7-year-old boy at the grocery store... again.
